Shoes… there are so many styles. Some are practical, some are for special occasions, and some are works of art. Now is your chance to design your perfect pair, and enter a competition to be judged by a panel of designers including the internationally renowned shoe designer Professor Jimmy Choo OBE. The winners will have their design shown here on the [Victoria and Albert] website.

What you need to submit:

A single jpeg image that should include:

1. One drawing of your design giving a side view of your shoe.
2. A list of materials that would be used to make the shoe, stating which materials would be used for each part of the shoe.
3. Two small drawings of specific details of your shoe. Choose the details that you think make your shoe design unique.
4. Send an accompanying email detailing your name, age (if under 18 years old), and a contact number. Do not put this information on the jpeg image.

There are four age categories:

11 - 13 year olds
14 - 15 year olds
16 - 18 year olds
18+
